Well established clothing manufacturer are actively recruiting for a Production Manger to over see the their facility in Sudbury.

Specializing in high end product, the whole process is manufactured on site, from cutting, to quilting to sewing and distribution.

Due to retirement of the long standing Production Manager a new opportunity has arisen for an experience Production Manager from a manufacturing background to join a growing and exciting company.

This is a full time role, working on a day shift, with an early finish on Fridays!!

  • Job requirements
    • Previous Team Leading/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
    • People management experience
    • Good computer skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to use own initiative to resolve issues
    • Ability to work under pressure
  • Language
    • Good English is a must
  • Responsibilities
    • Overseeing production processes
    • Ensure smooth and cost effective running of manufacturing, including proactively correcting any production issues
    • Organizing workflow, ensuring deadlines are met
    • Producing daily production reports
    • Analyze production data, including personnel performance
    • Managing area supervisors and organizing production staff
    • Taking charge of Health and Safety
    • Encouraging good housekeeping at all times
    • Unlocking the premises in the mornings
    • Carrying staff appraisals
    • Staff training and inductions
    • Labor management-including managing annual leave and sick absence
  • Remuneration
    • Salary - Salary will depend on experience- up to £30,000 per anum
    • Tax/Deduction - Uk tax and insurance deductions
    • Working hours per week - 45
    • Working days per week - 5
    • Holiday - 20 days annual leave plus BH; 28 days per year
    • Accommodation - provided by the employer
    • Meal - not provided
    • On-site parking
