What we are offering to you is a unique work and training opportunity for upcoming chefs within a leading hotel group in Ireland. You will be instructed and helped to settle in by us and one of the most popular chefs in Ireland.

 

  • Job requirements
    • some experience in kitchen work, preferably minimum 3 momths
    • you need to be committed to a up to two and a half year trainings programme, based on the level of skills you target
    • preferrable age between 19 to 29 years old
  • Language
    • communicative level of English  (oral & written  lnaguage skills) - B1
  • Responsibilities
    • 5 day working week (40 hours avg including training hours) in one of the our partner's hospitality establishments throughout Ireland

    • One day per week or block release training in colleges or ETBs to obtain certified qualification (followed successful completion of exam)

    • Additional group training in central locations organised and hosted by the training company

    • Each candidate is assigned to a specific establishment where they will be trained practically in all section of the kitchens as part of their working week

    • Each candidate will be additionally given the opportunity to work in the other establishments within the group as opportunities arise

  • Remuneration
    • Salary - Hourly rate of pay would be € 11.50 per hour gross minimum, depending on skills and stage of apprenticeship (rate of pay increases annually – schedule to be confirmed) Every candidate is paid an hourly rate of pay for each hour work in the establishment as well as during the attendance in the colleges or during training sessions
    • Tax/Deduction - based on local government regulations for apprenticeship and internship programmes
    • Working hours per week - 39-40
    • Working days per week - 5
    • Holiday - 20 days of paid holidays per year of employment
    • Accommodation - in suitable housing nearby the establishment (subject to a small weekly fee for electricity, heating and rent – tbc)
    • Scheduled meals while at work
    • Registration with local colleges or ETB facilitating the training
    • Tickets to Ireland - covered by you
