Our client is hotel is making a new house in addition to the hotel. It will be a 2 storey house with 24 apartments for renting out, both to hotel workers, but also to tourists during the summer season. Each apartment will be of good quality with private bed room, private bath and kitchenette. The new house is located close to the hotel. Right now the concrete sole is finished and they are working with the wooden framework and getting the roof in place. From January they will need 2 carpenters working with the interior framework, plastics, tiling, bathrooms, inside furniture and paintings. So all the interior walls and decorations needs to be done and also making of 24 bathrooms with tiling and equipment and furniture. There might also be some work at the hotel itself with refurbishments / paintings if the time is sufficient for that also. But mostly it is working on this new construction. The hotel has all the tools needed on site, but it is of course possible to also bring their own tools.
2 skilled Carpenters needed
• Contract period: ca first week of January – 15.6.21
• Gross salary from NOK 220 (tariff, ca EUR22) –or more – final offer will be depending on candidates profile and experiences
• Probation period: 1 month
• Working hrs 160 hours per month (this can be adjusted)
Timebank: YES.
• Possible to work extra hours. Extra hours are based on a voluntary agreement and intention with the employee and will be compensated at the end of the timebank period with normal pay per hour
• Overtime is paid with +50% on the hourly salary when working more than 12,5 hours in one day, or more than 54 hours in one week.
Overtime will be paid to the additional hours on the same day.
Overtime and the number of such hours, are only to be accepted when this is ordered by the manager or approved of in advance. Certain limitations for overtime apply according to Norwegian law. See also appendix regarding the working time. Normal working time is 8 – 10 hours per day, 5 - 6 days per week.
There are with two options, to choose from:
1. Opt. accommodation house, next door to the hotel with single sleeping room with own desk and closet, sharing bath with one other room. Access included to joint kitchen in the house sharing with others, NOK 3400 + NOK 140 for Wifi per month + use of electricity ca NOK 200-400 / month. Total ca NOK 3840
2. Opt. accommodation house, next door to the hotel. Sgl room with desk, closed, TV and mini-refrigerator sharing bath / WC in the hallway. No kitchen access. NOK 140 / night including 3 meals + NOK 140 for Wifi per month, Total NOK 4480 per month including 3 meals every day.
Meal arrangements - meal can also be taken in the hotel cantina at NOK 32,21 pr meal.
Tickets to Norway - your only expense, can be arranged by the employer and then deducted from the salary
