We are looking for a highly experienced sewing line eader wo work on automotive interior trim division.

  • Job requirements
    • Require A Highly Experienced Sewing Cell Line Leader for their automotive interior trim division.
    • The candidate must be highly proficient with a track record of leading a team of seamstresses in producing automotive seat covers in a semi-automated manufacturing environment.
    • He/She must be familiar with Automotive standards and processes : be highly astute with sewing sequencing, off line kitting & the sewing process including and ability to use all types of sewing machinery.
  • Language
    • Basic English minimum
  • Responsibilities
    • You will need to work with the seamstresses in the sewing team to implement the most time effective & efficient sewing process & sequencing of any one part.
    • Generally our parts are seat covers front sets (Back rest & Base with arm rests & head rests) and rear seat cover sets (backrest & base including headrests).
    • Typical materials we use is: leather, vinyl & other fabrics and materials.
    • The successful candidate will be involved on a day to day basis in sewing process engineering and will need to conduct feasibility studies, set up production cells and Implement Lean manufacturing tools e.g. single piece flow, changeover time reduction, Kaizen and cost/non-value added process reduction.

     
  • Remuneration
    • £12 per hour
    • Standard national insurance and task
    • 40 hours per week minimum
    • 28 days paid anual holiday
    • Company pension scheme pack
    • Accommodation would cost about 80 GBP weekly rent with some bills included
  • Documents
    • Cv in English with precisely stated relevant experience with a passport size photo
    • Diploma nad references would be of advantage
