We would need the candidfate to be time served i.e. have served an apprenticeship and trained in the use of manual or cnc lathes. Any experience in the use of other machinery would be an advantage. Must be able to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances. Must be able to speak English to a reasonable standard please
Our CNC lathe is a Mazak with Mazatrol controls, experience of this type of programming would be an advantage but not essential. The Mazatrol controls are ‘conversational’ not Gcodes.
This would be a permanent position for the right candidate.
