Workplace: Bakers work in bakeries, preparing dough, bread, and baked goods. Working with large quantities of dough is physically demanding, so being in good shape is essential. The Swiss bakery and confectionery produce fresh, crispy bread, pastries, and sweets daily, using high-quality ingredients. A wide selection of fresh, delicious products – sandwiches, rolls, pretzels, and pastries – awaits customers and clients.

  • Job requirements
    • Previous experience as a baker in a medium to high-end bakery.
    • Serious attitude toward work.
    • Ability to quickly learn recipes.
    • EU passport, Swiss passport, or work permit.
    • Good physical condition.
  • Language
    • German at least B1 level or English at B1-B2 level.
  • Responsibilities
    • Work involves handling large amounts of dough, which is physically demanding, so good physical condition is essential.
    • Production of fresh, crispy bread, baked goods, and sweets using high-quality ingredients. A wide variety of fresh, delicious items – sandwiches, rolls, pretzels, and pastries.
  • Remuneration
    • Net monthly salary (after taxes and deductions) around 2,800 Swiss francs, equivalent to approximately 2,870 euros per month.
    • Insurance - Employment contract-based.
    • Working Hours: 42 hours per week, from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Night shifts until 3:00 AM include a 25% salary bonus. Breakfast – 4.00 francs.
    • Workdays: 5 per week.
    • Holiday pay - 5 weeks of paid vacation per year.
    • Accommodation -  In-house accommodation from 300.00 francs per month.
    • Food: Lunch – 10.00 francs (daily menu, salad, drinks, coffee).
    • Upon starting, bakers receive a few shirts but must provide their own work uniform (clean shoes, pants, apron, and T-shirt).
    • Fights tickets or transportation  to the Employer- Covered by the candidate.
