We have  a job opening for a head chef in western norway, about 170 kilometers awy from Trondheim. The hotel has about 70 rooms and is considered relatively small establishment, but is a high level a la carte restaurant and SPA.

  • Job requirements
    • Minimum 18 months of experience as a head chef in fine dining establishment
    • Strong organisational skills and culinary background
    • Menu calculations experience
    • Ability to build a team
  • Language
    • Good English, ability to talk and understand Scandinavean language, Norsk or Danish  is a considerably advantage
  • Responsibilities
    • Working in a fast pace environment
    • Training new kitchen staff members by company's standards
    • Building the team
    • Food cost calculations
    • Purchasing planning and inventory
    • Working with the team and organising the kitchen efficiently
  • Remuneration
    • Salary - 36 800 NOK gross monthly salary, net income 3912 NOK per month or 3250 euro netto per month
    • Tax/Deduction - as in Norway
    • Working hours per week - about 40
    • Working days per week - 5
    • Holiday - 10,2 % may increase
    • Accommodation - 4500 NOK montly rent, no deposits to be prepaid, will be deducted from salary. Private one room apartment, TV all channels, wifi, WC. Option for a larger apartment at about 5500 NOk maonthly rent
    • Meal - 29,93 NOK per meal
    • Tickets - can be arranged and then may be deducted from salary
